Sorting It Out conducts independent, fair and thorough investigations which enable employers to uncover high risk practices or inappropriate behaviour such as bullying, discrimination or harassment and take appropriate action.

mediation + facilitation

Sorting It Out offers an independent mediation process to enable parties to a problem or dispute to discuss their differences and attempt to find constructive solutions. Sorting It Out can also facilitate or chair difficult meetings so that all parties can contribute to discussions.

advocacy, advice + negotiation

Sorting It Out can assist employees or employers to access or prepare information and can attend meetings or interviews in a supportive role. We can also write letters on your behalf and speak in situations where you don’t feel able to speak for yourself including negotiation of wages and conditions.

 

Bronwyn Powell, the principal of Sorting It Out, has over thirty years experience in dealing with issues that arise in the workplace. Included in her qualifications are a BA with a major in Psychology and a minor in Training and Development and a Diploma of Business Studies endorsed in Dispute Resolution. She is a member of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand and has completed Masterclasses in Negotiation and Mediation.
